It does not contain fluoridesand can be used in applications where fluorides areprohibited.Semco® Pasa-Jell 102 is designed to clean andpassivate aluminium and aluminium alloys. Itaccomplishes the passivation by removing foreignmaterials and corrosion products that could set up localcells and cause pitting corrosion, and by forming anextremely thin but corrosion-resistant adherent oxidefilm on the metal.Semco® Pasa-Jell 102 can also be used to removeanodised coatings from aluminium, although it doesnot act as rapidly as Semco® Pasa-Jell 101. Whenspot removing anodised coatings, it will stay in placewithout running onto adjacent areas.
