ROYCO 560 has been developed for the growing demands of the latest technological advances in gas turbine engines. With the advent of higher bypass ratio engines, higher thrust, and therefore higher engine operating temperatures and pressures, this fluid has shown lower maintenance costs and a significant savings in downtime. ROYCO 560 combines higher thermal oxidative stability with lower carbon residue formation, far exceeding the performance of conventional Type II (Mil-PRF-23699) fluids. This results in better engine performance and longer times between MOH. Additionally, this third generation oil can be used in any legacy engine designed to run on Mil-L-23699 type fluids, so even these engines can realize the same performance benefits.
