DeSoto® CN44 is a cleaning solvent specially formulated to meet the particular requirements of aircraft painting. CN44 is a blend of different solvents suitable for equipment cleaning and capable of handling a wide range of surface contaminants. Alcohols are included to remove water soluble dirt. Ketones are included to dissolve resinous contamination and aromatic hydrocarbons to remove oils and greases. CN44 has a carefully balanced evaporation rate which allows time for dirt to be wiped off the surface without an excessively long drying time.
