It is a manganese dioxide cured, liquid polysulfide compound and the mixed compound is a low sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula.
It has a service temperature range of -42°C (-43.6°F) to 130°C (266°F). It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant having excellent adhesion to common aircraft substrates without shrinkage.
Its corrosion inhibitive properties protect against the common causes of corrosion on aluminium alloys or between dissimilar metals.
