PPG PRC-Desoto® PR-1440 Class B two-component fuel tank sealant is a two-component formulation, part A and part B. Part A of the sealant comes in liquid form, while part B of the sealant comes in solid form. Part A of the sealant has a boiling point of 360°C. Part-A sealant has a relative density of 1.88 while part B has 1.57. The kinematic viscosity of the sealant is 0.21 square centimetres per second at 40°C and the specific gravity is 1.57. The service temperature range is -54 to 121°C. Each 6 ounce cartridge contains 3.5 ounces of sealant.
