PR-1428 Class A is a low tack sealant. It has a temperature range from -65°F (-54°C) to 250°F (121°C) with intermittent excursions up to 135°C (275°F). The material is intended for use as an access door sealant or in the manufacture of form-in-place (FIP) seals.
PR-1428 is a Class A, two-component, manganese dioxide cured, polysulfide compound. The uncured material is suitable for rush application up to 25 mils thick. It cures at room temperature to form a removable seal to common aircraft substrates.
