Comparable to the blue Loctite thread retainer, Nuts N 'Bolts ® 423 is a medium strength, single component anaerobic thread locking material. This screw lock is thixotropic and recommended for threaded assemblies subject to vibration, shocks or thermal changes. This medium power product requires the use of hand tools to disassemble. As an anaerobic product, the material hardens when trapped in the absence of air between tightly fitting metal surfaces and is particularly suitable for less active substrates such as stainless steel and coated surfaces.
