Mastinox is not affected by most hydrocarbons or greases.
However, wherever Mastinox will come into contact with aggressive hydraulic fluids, eg "Skydrol", it is recommended to protect it using a conventional polyurethane paint system.
Direct contact between different alloys can cause galvanic corrosion in the joint.
