LOCTITE ® 277 is a red high strength, high viscosity, thixotropic methacrylate based thread fixing adhesive. It has a fixing time of 30 minutes on steel, 25 minutes on brass and 270 minutes on stainless steel, which makes it possible for applications where adhesive transport must be prevented. It can tolerate lightly contaminated surfaces with industrial oils. Suitable for large gears. It has a fluorescent feature to provide control.
