It is useful on low strength metals such as aluminum or brass that can break while being removed. It is effective on all metals, including passive surfaces such as stainless steel, aluminum and coated surfaces. It has proven to be resistant to minor surface contamination from industrial oils such as engine oils, anti-corrosion oils and cutting fluids.
