Instantbond ® 117 is a high-viscosity, state-of-the-art, one-component, solvent-free, room temperature curing cyanoacrylate adhesive that polymerizes quickly when pressed between parts into a thin film. The presence of surface moisture initiates the curing of the adhesive. Instantbond ® 117 develops bearing strength in seconds and full functional strength within hours. Instantbond ® 117 can bond a wide variety of substrates including metals, thermoplastics, elastomers, ceramics, leather, cork and paper, but is particularly suitable for wire joining applications. Despite the superior bonding ability of Instantbond ® 117, it is NOT recommended for long-term glass-to-glass bonding applications.
