UV FOG (Form on Gasket) 68221 is an EB / UV curable product that provides excellent adhesion to shaft seals, oil seals, metals, glass, ceramics and plastics. It can be used as on-site forming gasket in oil and cooling systems. Typical applications include Engine covers, Oil pans and other fluid sealing systems.
Storage
The UV Fog 68221 can be stored in a dry place in unopened containers at a temperature between 60 ilaF to 90 F (15 ºC to 32 C) unless otherwise specified. The material must be mixed and heated to 80 - 90 ° F (26 - 32 ° C) before use. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or fluorescent light. Do not return any material to its original container to avoid contamination of unused material.
Cured Gaskets Shelf life
Seals can be stored at room temperature for a minimum of 2 years.
Clear
Uncured UV Fog 68221 should be cleaned with absorbent material and placed in a closed container for disposal. Small areas can be cleaned by exposure to UV curing, light or sunlight by curing the product before disposal. Then the area can be washed with soap and water.
